I am wondering how other camps handle staff using personal vehicles for camp business. Do you allow it at all and if so how do you reimburse employees? Does your insurance cover the use of personal vehicles?

Yes staff do for personal business, We reimburse for gas. As I have been told the staff members personal insurance is the primary.
For camp business, we have staff use camp vehicles. The staff member must be 21 and have already been checked off on vehicles. Only in rare circumstances do staff use their own personal vehicle but when they do we give them a choice: pay for their gas or reimburse milegae. If they drive their own car, their insurance is primary.
