Seems like a short amount of time, but there's a lot I've got to do before then. Most of it is just school stuff, giving exams, closing down my classroom, graduation.

22 days over here, staff orientation was today and it was AWESOME. SOOO hyped for camp this summer, new position as Group Leader, got assigned to the same group of kids I had as a counselor, so excited
I've still got awhile to go - staff training has started at my camp, but at this point I'm not sure exactly when I'll be leaving. I'm planning for near the end of the month, but I haven't been cleared by my doc for traveling yet - I got pretty sick at the end of my pregnancy, and then got two serious infections a week afterward. People really freak out if your temperature is 104.4 and you're hallucinating a week after giving birth. :)
If everything goes ideally from here on out, I should be leaving in 19 days though.

Good to see that I'm not the only one going to camp this summer, though it appears that I'm the first one leaving. I am actually leaving a week later than in the past.
Staff training actually started the last week of May for the pre-camp staff and the horse staff. Then we really get started on Sunday (I count the day I'm in and the day I get there... I know I'm weird).

Released to travel by one of my doctor's today, with a few 'just in case' prescriptions. Two more doctors for me before I can leave. Baby will need 2 month shots and a follow up hearing test before we can leave, but it is looking better.
I am really, really excited about this summer. I'm sad that I'm missing part of it, but I think that it will be a great experience for the baby - so many things for him to look at and listen to.

Looked at my camp trunk and duffle last night... didn't put anything in it.

Did laundry, put a pair of jeans in my duffle.... Slowly but surely. Last night I was just too distracted by the Blackhawks' game to do anything productive.

I broke down and packed last night. I have a "going away" party tonight... should be fun. Then I'll officially leave tomorrow afternoon and get to camp on Sunday.

Cleared by two docs! Second doc is sending me with a stack of prescriptions and strict instructions to have any doc I have to see call him, but he's letting me go.
15 days!!!! Parent/Camper Meet and Greet on Wednesday, looking forward to that!!

13 Days, Last full week of school.Got my finalized group assignment and have parent/camper meet and greet tomorrow night. Can't wait to see my kids again!!!

11 days, Paren/Camper Meet and Greet was amazing, I have the coolest group of kids this year. Almost have the same exact group of kids as the past 2 years but with a few replacements. The new kids I met were awesome. I CANNOT wait until next Monday, camp is awesome!!
10 day, Parent/Camper Meet and Greet really added to my excitement. I am even more excited about camp this year then ever before. Nothing really interesting coming up, just 10 plain old days until camp. Had my last "Official" school day today, just graduation practice for the next couple of days then graduation on Tuesday. After that it is all downhill until camp. Might be working at Camp Picnics this weekend and next weekend to make some extra $$ but other then that I'm just hanging around. Cant wait until camp!!! I hope those of you already at camp are having an amazing time I wish I could be there too!
9 more days!!! Still very excited, didn't hear back from camp about this weekend as expected (they can be very lazy when it comes to communications). Last week before camp coming up, nothing planned. Got my hours for camp, looks like I'm working from 8:00am to 3:30pm and then to 5:30pm for extended hours/aftercare which should be fun. Not much at all going on this weekend, just a family event today and father's day tomorrow. Next week will just be very boring except for my high school graduation on Tuesday which I would have rather just gotten my diploma in the mail and not have had to go to school this week rather then going to graduation. But after Tuesday, its all about camp for the rest of the time until camp. Can't wait, looking forward to hearing back from you guys that are already at camp now.
8 more days!! Can't believe we are almost a week away from camp, I remember when there was like 200 days until camp. Happy Fathers Day to any Fathers out there. Nothing interesting happened today, went to the movies to pass some time. I guess I'm the only one still posting a countdown on here. It's depressing to see the Forums dying off but I still think that we can do something about it this year after camp is over.
7 more days!! Down to the final week before camp, still cannot believe how close I am to camp!!! It feels like an eternity since last years camp ended. I've been getting a ton of emails and phone calls from overnight camps trying to get me to come work for them ever since I signed up on campstaff.com which is great because I plan to work at an overnight camp next summer so it feels good to be guaranteed a spot next summer somewhere different. Miss my kids and I can't wait to see them Monday! I hope everyone is having an amazing summer just as mine has been so far!!!
6 days left until camp!! I can already smell the lake. High School Graduation tonight, I'm more excited about camp then graduation, I'd rather have one more day at camp then go to graduation. Now that I think of it, this school year went by both fast and slow. All the fun and exciting things flew by while all the boring things took FOREVER. It feels like an eternity since camp ended last year. I guess I'm addicted to camp or something but I have been counting down the days ever since I left camp on the last day. I hope everyone is having fun and hopefully I'll be at camp as well soon enough!!!
5 Days!! Graduated High School last night, had a long night didnt get back home until 5am. Relaxing the rest of the week and working a little on friday and saturday at my other job for the last time until next school year. If I could I would skip time just to get to camp.

4 DAYS OMG it feels like time is going by slower every minute. I just want it to be Monday already, even just Sunday would be good. I have to work a little bit with my other job tomorrow and Saturday but not for too long and it should hopefully waste some time so I can get to camp already. Happy Thursday!
3 DAYS HOLY SHEEP!!! Sooo close but sooo far. Not looking forward to Saturday but after Saturday it is all down hill. They should just call Saturday, SADDERDAY. Hahaha I'm so lonely on here. I absolutely cannot wait any longer until camp. Have fun everyone!! Happy Friday!!!
2 Days , so close but so far. Tomorrow is going to be hopefully all relaxation and preparation. Today was the worst day at work that I've ever had, I had one of the worst experiences at work ever. Anyway, its all over now and I can't wait until Monday!!!
1 Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!! I have a couple of things at home to do but other then that it should be a good day right before my favorite day of the year. SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!
