Well the weather's getting warmer, and February's over, so I thought it was time for a camp countdown. Someone started one a while back, but I can't find it in the last few pages of threads. So...
100 days until precamp for me!
8 days until I find out if I have the job, and 99 until staff training!
11 and half weeks till training which means...i think 95 days. God it is closer than i thought! Yay!
I still have 104 days until camp. I cant wait.
99 days till preseason for me!
I graduate in 93 days so I should be going to camp in 100 days.
WOW...i just counted...is it really only 86 days?!?!
87 days till staff training but I'll be at camp well before that
108 days until staff training, but I will probably be showing up a day late as I am transferring colleges.
110 days til i get there, but I am going late, which I am SO sad about, but at least I'm going!!!!!
I have 76 days until camp..... I am so excited...
Training starts in 80 days, but I'm going up early to do group services work, so I'll be starting in just 34 days ! Whoa !

Camp Sacajawea Day Camp Starts - 2 Months, 1 Week, 4 Days left.
But staff training a week earier and working some days at Council once semester is over maybe and in early June at council/camp prior to camp starting. Just got get through the next few weeks and I am done with the semester May 9. So close but so far. Lots of school work to do.
Woo hoo, 60 days left!!! And even fewer until weekend/afternoon programs start at my camp's barn! Yay!

I think the last bit IS the worst... esp. when you found out you have your dream job and you're planning for it 24/7...
i think that september and october are excruciating and so are april, may, and the beginning of june...the 1st 2 b/c you just got back from camp and it REALLY is far away again. the last 3 b/c there is a lot of camp-related stuff going on and it's so close but so far!

I agree, January and February However can be bad sometimes because they are such dreary months here in Michigan. Usually March is okay.
I am honestly not sure how long I have. I have applied for a few agencies but have not heard anything yet.

I don't start packing until a week or two until I go. If It's any earlier the wait will feel longer. So I think of the packing as a point to wait for along the way too.

Well Smiles gave me a project to work on a while ago; one of the games, not exactly something to teach.
18 days... How much pre-camp do your camps do? We do a week...
3 days!!! and my precamp goes on for a week and about 3 days: it starts saturday morning, and on the following tuesday, the campers arrive! one day is for first aid/cpr, another day is paperwork/drug testing, and another in the open house. so then we have a week to learn everything there is about camp.

About 25 days left...River why does it take your camp a day to do drug testing? I would imange it would only take a few hours and the cpr at my 1st camp took only a 1/2 day
