I'm new to the camp director world. I was wondering if any directors out there can tell me what the pay and benefits are for their summer staff. Thanks.

We pay our counselors on a set scale. The pay increases for our our more experienced counselors a well as our returning counselors. If you want to talk in greater detail feel free to send me a pm with your e-mail.

I'm not a director but as a Unit Manager and Archery instructor, I'm getting payed $250 a week. Here is the pay scale for my camp if you are interested in looking at it for ideas.

I worked at a number of camps, and the best place I got payed was at a camp that was run by a well known non-for-profit (Not the Y). I made around $4000 for about two months of work. Rare indeed.
At other camps, I made around $150 a week.
