I am looking for ideas on camp traditions. What do you do, or have heard of, that is fun and engaging and something that campers look forward to year after year?

Im looking for more than just "color war" or "themed meals". Let me know what works!

Color Wars are always great at camp but a 3, 5, and 10 year club is huge at keeping kids coming back.

I know of a camp that does an end of week skit show for their closing program. Its something everyone looks forward too.

Look at the history of your camp- are there any famous names/events that happened that you could use to create some new traditions. A lifeguard who saved a bunch of campers from a tipped canoe could be the namesake of your swimming merit badge, for example. Or maybe you ring the camp bell every morning 5 times because the camp has been around for 5 decades. Stuff like that kids (and staff) seem to appreciate.
