electives with regular activities - yo-yos once a week were more than enough!

plan your own program with your unit staff or have it all planned for you so all you have to do is go from place to place?

I have had both and it has its drawbacks and benifits as well. The drawbacks can mean you may know campers in other cabins better then the ones in your cabin, not knowing your own campers in depth, The benifits is if you have a cabin that is misbehaving badly as a whole you dont have to spend every second with them.

maybe finding a way to be with the campers for some of the day.

Assigned by cabin then pick where you want at that table. Makes meal times go quicker.

Do you go to a week long camp or a multiple week camp?

In a tent, but only because no matter what we do, everyone wakes up soaking wet. We have too much dew, and a lot of unpredictable rain.

Eating in the dining hall, or outside somewhere?

I love cookouts, but a nice inside dinner is my choice because it is much less hectic and everyone can just enjoy being together for the last few hours instead of having to cook and clean and all that. Also easier to do with a staff of 50!

Smudge, you sure do like those new archery/waterfront activities you are creating!

cabin or tent or other cool camp shelter (teepee, yurt, etc)?
