Nope, and neither can the directors.

Would you rather have a staff hoodie, or a staff jacket?

Staff Jacket

Would you rather work at a week long camp or a month long camp?

week long. I like the turnover. Although I like more when the one week sessions are for the younger girls and two weeks for the older girls!

This is why I want 2 or 3 staff shirts! One for opening day that's all the same, one for "departments" or "rank" or whatever, and a third just for fun!

The oldest!

I would love one with Smudge on it! Actually we got shirts printed for the Get together and I was thinking about getting one done with Smudge 1 on the back!

Would you get your own shirt printed or not?

The lak 2005 shirts had our camp names on the back!

well, I typed all this in before realizing that there was another page, so I am going to respond anyway!

for the candy question- that's just plain mean! I know we are there for the whole summer and most of them are only there for 1 week, but we have time each day to eat sweets and chew gum, etc.

smoking at KA- wow, that's a lot of work just for a cigarette! But it totally makes sense that you have to do all that because of the fact that it is an asthma camp!

ok, now for the current quesiton- purple

and now my quesion- classes- 2+ hours a few days a week or 1 hour 5 days a week?

2 hours for two - three days; I'd rather NOT have to drive to campus just to sit there for an hour on a friday.
Or have any classes at all on fridays.

Camp shirts again! Longsleeve or short?

2 - a long sleeve and short sleeve - that way you can be clean for outgoing, have a fun weekend without worrying about laundry and clean for incoming and then do laundry during the session!

Do you think that you should be provided with a hoodie or jacket as part of uniform or do you think it should be available to buy if you want it?

every member-- I tried that at my last camp and it didnt work-- some campers said why do I have to get up if the other counselors arent up yet. The counselors in my cabin would get lazy and only pretend to be helping out only when we had our cabin inspections. It would be only 1 or 2 out of the 4 people in the cabin waking kids up and doing 90% of the work while the others sleep or take a shower. The only time I would not have to wake the kids up was on my 24 hour day off.

Sorry for rambling on

evening programs-- all camp activity or unit/village activity

Not always. For some programs, yes! But when it's your 1000th time to the waterfront, I can pass on the photos. That and my camera is a DSLR so it's HUGE.

When everyone has the weekend off and cam leave camp and do their own thing, does your staff typically hang out together or not?

A bit of both - those who live locally tend to go home (maybe taking someone home with them) while those who cant do this tend to hang out together.

If you are at a camp in a new state (country) would you rather spent TO going to the mall and movies or going to see the local attractions?
