every day so that I know for sure I am getting it and when I am getting it so I know I can get out for a bit 22 hours after getting back on duty (we have 2 hours every day at the same time all week. It varies week-to-week when our daily time is though.)

2 hours each day off in a 5 day period or 10 consecutive hours? (this is assuming that you have a session break each week as well)

you are so lucky you get 2 hours off... I only wind up getting 45 mins off a day if I get a poeriod off a day because I owuld have to make sure things are cleaned up in my area and get back in time to set up for the next period

Getting a scudule of when you teach and what group for a week or getting the schudule at breakfeast each day

For the week - it would allow you to plan better for the week (I had a daily schedule at main idea and didnt like it!)

Having a single person plan the schedules of everyone on camp or do it as individual units working around assigned things like swimming and program center?

Time off... lying in the sun (on the beach if you have one) or reading a book in the shade?

having a friend write your name in the refered by section so that you can tell the CD not to hire them or just tell them that the staff is already full? (knowing that this person could never hack it your camp.)

Well I would say that the staff is already full-- hopefully that the person doesnt call the CD to verify the information

Would you want a theme for olympics or not -- some theme for olympics at my camp inculde Harry Potter

themes! themes are always fun!

(Katie - Tell them staff is full, or try to gently explain to them that camp might not be for them and why. If they contact the CD anyway, write the CD an email about them nicely explaining why you think they might not hack it at camp).

If you got every Saturday off and away from camp, would you:
Pack all of your camp clothes into one large storage tub for your weeks at camp and possibly leave the tub there and just take home your dirty clothes to wash
OR pack two smaller tubs of camp clothes, take home the dirty tub on the weekend and bring back the clean one?

the 2 tub system - that sounds easier

(Give the CD a heads-up, if they do apply, because it's not like you just don't want them to be there, just that they wouldn't be suitable [not everyone is after all])

Staff trip on day off or go somewhere else with friends?

staff trips are always fun.

(the person in question work at camp buckskin and the CD there refuses to hire her on as a conselor so she's been a CIT for 3 years now (20 years old, they have a strange CIT program) and she doesn't understand why, then she talks about how much she hates starting conversations and dealing with kids)

campers in lifejackets on the water trampoline or not?

In my opinion, PFDs should not be worn on a water trampoline; to me it seems like ti causes too much of a risk if the jacket doesn't fit properly, or slips out of place, causing harm to the camper. Maybe I'm alone in that sentiment?

IMAX movies or movies in 3-D?

On camp - I'm protective of my own.

(I think the life jacket should be unnecessary. Unless you're letting campers that can't swim into deep water?)

(20yo CIT? That does sound a little weird. Yea I can see why she would be a little unsuitable.)

IMAX or regular cinema?

I agree a 20 year old CIT-- you think that person would get the hint that another job would be better

Driving to camp or flying to camp-- assuming you lived a good distance away from camp

I don't live far from camp, so I'll be driving. BUT If I lived in the same country as the camp, or in the camp was in eastern provinces of Canada, I would drive. I like driving, and I would leave a week or two early so I could stop and see the sights along the way.

Who would you rather find burrowed in your clothes in your tent, a mouse giving birth or a raccoon?

Trying to decide how to pack for camp stormy?

I think a racoon - cos if you a mouse you would have to let it stay there until the babies were bigger or kill them

would you rather have spagetti and meatballs or baked zitti?

maaaaybe. It's very hard. I like having EVERYTHING at my hands if I need it; but maybe packing two tubs and alternating them wont be as bad as I think it will be. The only issue being shoes/things that I use weekly.

Cookout! I had a campfire cookout last week and it was wonderful!
