offering an extra session of an activity for kids who want to learn more about an activity ie Nature, podcasting, radio, lake sports etc or not

if kids want to do something and it is possible it should be worked into the program so yes.
penny hike (tossing a coin to decide left or right at junctions) or color hike (giving the kids crayons and having them see how many things of that color they can find while on the hike)?

yes having cell service-- its cheaper then using prepaid phone cards for the pay phones and since I already have a contract cell phone I want to use what I am already paying for

pre-caid - you cant get into debt and I have heard of people running up bills of nearly ?2000 in one month!

home made is soooo delicious, even if it takes hard work.
Running your program in a huuuge but inside room with no chairs, OR running your program in a much smaller outdoor porch (that's enclosed) with benches?

depends on the program - if it involves games then I would say inside with no chairs - if it was something like nature then I would say porch with benches.
board games for rainy days - use ready made ones or split the campers into smaller groups and give them card, markers etc and have them create their own camp based one (oh my that is such a brillient idea - I will have store it in my mind for the future!)?

in an ideal world I would say neither but it isnt and ideal world so I would say boys working at a GS camp cos you dont see many female site rangers/managers/maintainance people
