pouring rain -- I hate the burning heat because of the threat of campers becoming dehydrated

would you want a slideshow of the camp session or not

I would say yes since I was one of those people who left due to medical reasons-- the director had to convince me it was the best thing for me and the campers. I dont think its fair that staff who had a contract for the second half of the summer to be able to attend the staff party when I worked the first half and had to leave early and not be able to attend.

Anyway back to topic

staff party -- at camp or outside of camp

when on duty in cabin - be allowed to sit on front steps or absolutely have to stay within the cabin?

would you want the cabins spread apart or close togeter

Spread apart

would you rather sleep completely in the cabin with the kids (no seperate staff area) or in a staff room within the cabin/staff cabin?

A bit of both! electives are fantastic but if a kid has choosen to do a specific program then there is an expectation that they will do certain things!

Camp were the kids all come and do a generalised camp program or where they sign up for a specific program so have to spend at least some of there day doing that as well as traditional camp activities?

Definitely yes! I need a place for my notebook, water bottle, poncho, etc!

Have a long break - let's say a week - in the middle of the summer, or finish earlier?

a long break - sometimes if you have problems sleeping or issues with your unit or department staff I feel you need it.

Guaranteed time off everyday or just a specific number of hours over the summer allocated in such a way that some days you dont get anytime off?

I would agree with that marty - and if you arent feeling too well - but not ill enough to go to the infirmary it is enough to keep you going!

depends on what I want to do with my TO - if I want to eat out then evening if I want to swim and email and shower then afternoon - so maybe a mixture of both

if you have 24hrs off would you want breakfast to breakfast, lunch to lunch or dinner to dinner?

Breakfast to breakfast. That way you still have the whole day to head off to do something, and you don't have to worry so much about what time you get back.

Same cabin/tent all summer or move around?
