Camp Runels, part of Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, is currently looking for a RN for the 2010 summer camp season.

Camp Runels is located on Little Island Pond, a 155-acre pond which the girls use for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boating, and sailing. The site is about 300 acres of forest, most of which is left undeveloped. Our campers come to camp for one or two week sessions, selecting specific programs that they are interested in. Meals are served in our dining hall each day and groups cookout once or twice a session. Our focus is on the arts and outdoor tripping programs, though we run a variety of general programs as well. We have an average of about 75 resident campers and 75 day campers on site at a time, with a staff of about 30.

The Camp Nurse will live in the Health Lodge, with a flush bathroom, shower, and kitchen. Internet access is available in the nearby staff house and laundry is available on site. We run one two-week session and six one week sessions. Pre-camp begins on June 20th and camp finishes on August 15th.

We are in need of someone with or willing to obtain a NH License and would prefer someone interested in working for the entire summer. If you are interested in working for the Girl Scouts in beautiful New Hampshire this summer, we'd love to hear from you!
