if i have to choose newspaper while wear a nice pair of gloves so i dont have to deal with the icky feel of newspapers or lingering smell on my hands

Mix of both - mostly campers though.

I would do both as there are benifits to teaching both

Campers required to write mail home or not (ex.. to get into dinner one night)?

real covers or a sleeping bag for in unit sleeping?

I bring a sleeping bag - but if i lived in the US i would bring real covers - not a fan of sleeping bags

have an ipod speaker system/radio in the cabin or no?

If it is a staff only cabin then yeah, if used when there are no campers to hear it or very quietly, but if it is a shared cabin then NO cos it isnt far on the campers who arent allowed them!



think that campers should be allowed to bring iPods/DS's etc to camp or not?

not, takes away from the nature and the getting away from technology though I like the CITs having them as long as they follow the rules and don't take them out of Hill House.

I really wish my camp allowed us to use our iPods/speakers with the kids around, not for personal use, but for music while cleaning or a little mini dance party. Of course all music would have to be camp appropriate and I would not use it all the time, but it would be a nice supplement.

The staff are allowed to use our iPods for our Inclusion (special needs) dance party, where the inclusion campers invite the littles and we have a dance party!

Forest (is a wonderful place filled with bugs and snakes, I wanna see a salamanders face, the forest is a wonderful place! I wanna go there!)

not....i love the concept, but no one can find my veins and after awhile it got old, plus it takes me four hours to maybe fill a bag.

vegetable garden - way more rewarding in my opinion

(we have ipod/speakers in the cabins for wake up, clean up, and quietly for rest hour if the kids want it.)
