Teenster, try going to your local Kohls or Dicks and getting some Soffe shorts. I usually get the plain black ones but I'm pretty positive they come in white and navy too, they are logo free, and are really comfy... oh and cheap. Like 7.99 or less.
Soffe Shorts at Kohls more soffe shorts

We only have to wear a uni shirt. We have to pay for them, they're 6 dollars each and they recommend we get 7-10 of them. I got 7 tank tops and one t-shirt (just incase, but I really hate t-shirts) They're white with the camp logo on them. I was gonna get my own sweatshirt the other day but our camp goes through cloz.com and I'm sorry but that is just ridiculously expensive..

how much were they charging for the camp hoodie - our camp hoodies were $25 I think - and I know that the 2 years they only offered them for the staff and we could get our camp names embroidered on it that was all they cost!

Soffe shorts are too short for me. I wear basketball shorts. I get them through a website that does team uniforms, and it's for cheaper than $8.00.

The hoodies were anywhere from 30-50 dollars but of course... i dont want the 30 dollar one lol \:\) actually I can't even afford that one but I suppose taking a step back it isn't really that expensive...

Oh, OK. I can't wear basketball shorts, they do weird things up by my thighs lol \:\) Also I'm not skinny enough to pull them off... or at least I wasn't the last time I tried. \:\)

As a bigger person I prefer basketball length or longer shorts to shorter ones!

$30 isnt that bad but $50 is!

It is pretty tough to find shorts with no logos, but we are allowed to "hide" the logos. I use fabric paint to cover up any logos. The shorts I get have a small logo that is easily fixed with a bit of paint. I get a deal on shorts... two for $10.

We can also purchase a hoodie (the sweatshirt provided is a crew neck), I think it's $20. I got one my first summer.

I know, one of the first things I did was go to the GSEM website and download the book that shows a list of camps :P:P Read it about 4 times.

I'm assuming we don't have a uniform at Cedarledge, except for the staff shirt we get given for opening and closing days?

I should mention most of my very good friends are those 5'10 gymorexic, tom boy, athletic types. I just look a foold trying to pull of basketball shorts next to them lol. I usually go mid thigh length, never super short. I always get my soffe shorts a size or two up so I can roll them, they're baggy, and they still end mid-thigh...

I would have thought that if you needed anything else you would have been told when you were sent your kit list - one of the GS camps I worked at we had to wear white and green for evening flag - but it was made very clear on the kit list that we needed that!

eastbay.com

Though, our camp has a special discount code. I think the prices are still pretty resonable, even without the discount. That's another reason to buy from another site, the camp has discount deals with sites so we don't have to pay an arm or a leg for anything. You do have to be careful with the discount, it only applies to uniform type items. I tried to use it on a pair of sneakers my first year, and it didn't go through.

That is good that they have set up discounts for you! I will check them out cos over here most shorts tend to me much shorter than I am comfortable wearing!

Yeah, it's a good deal for the websites, too. They get extra traffic to their site, and usually we will buy stuff that isn't under a discount.

These are the shorts I get: http://www.eastbay.com/product/model:100...EYWORD%20SEARCH

The mesh shorts are really comfy, too:

You're right, Munchy. Just the staff shirt on the first day of each session, which you'll be getting in precamp (they look pretty good this year). Other than that, just dress... decently. \:\)

I'm about 5'4, and they go just past my knees. I have the white and navy for camp, then I have a few other colors for home. They are very comfy to sleep in.

Yup, sure we would have been told, just wanted to confirm that I hadn't missed anything by accident. I'd hate to look a dill. \:\)

Indigo: Awww.... but I look so good in transparent, skimpy clothing ;P That's a lie... I'd actually look pretty bad, should I ever choose to actually wear stuff like that.

I tend to cover up, hence why I'm increadibly pale. Hoping to get a little tan at camp \:\)

Haha, I'm the same way. \:\)

Oh, can you explain... dill? I love learning Australian slang, and I've picked up some, between camp staff and my trip there last year, but I haven't heard that one!
My favorite is hoon. \:D

A hoon is a (usually young) crazy-fast driver.

And then there's good-as (and other things -as), as you do, and... oh, there were some other fun ones!
