T - Things you really think you will need but wont actually and also things that you wont think you will need but will actually need

U-underwear and socks are really the only things that can ONLY be worn ONCE (unless you have higher standards, which is fine) so understand that you will likely choose other activities on your TO than being chained to a washer and dryer so bring fewer pants and more undies and socks!

V - varnish (for wood) isn't called varnish in the USA - this causes some confusion!

W- white socks will no longer be white the instant they come on to camp property (even clean in your luggage)! Ok, nothing that enters white ever leaves white.

I have heard it called varnish, but I don't know what it means... So I've heard the words wood varnish, but don't know what it is.

X - be prepared to Xplain unusual terms you might use

Y- You will learn to call people really odd things, even in public places because it just feels weird to use real names, if you even know them.

Y-You will find yourself doing and saying things that 3 months ago you wouldn't have thought possible, or if you did, you would have been adamant that you would not, could not do those things.

Z - Zink the Zebra is a fun program to use with the girls

or Z - zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's are essential if you want to stay healthy at camp!

New theme: the weirdest thing someone has brought to camp - or you can imagine someone bringing to camp!

A- a lot of romance novels

B - bagpipes( i worked with a girl who nearly brought hers!)

C- carmel apples

ok, I couldn't think of anything for the last couple days so now I'm just putting up something that would be weird to bring to camp so the game can continue.

D - dancing cactus - one of our counsellors did actually bring one with her - strangely enough her camp name was cactus!

E- every craft supply they own (ok so I come pretty close to that, and then only end up using some of it)

I have a friend who has a dancing coke can.

I had a friend who did practically that too!

F - fishing gear!

G- Gargantuan amounts of gorrilla-themed items

I don't actually know someone who did this ,but it would be weird, and only a little less so if their name was Gorrilla

H - a harp (unless you are at music!)

I- icthus magnet(more commonly known as a Jesus fish I believe)

even if you are a music person, a harp would just be difficult to transport (or at least a great harp would be)

and yes, I do have an icthus magnet that says Believe inside it and it's all sparkly, but bringing the magnet to camp would be random.

L - a Llama

M- mismatched clothing (ok, not so weird to us, but to the non-camp world we would be weird for bringing/wearing these things)

O- Oyster stew

P - power tools

Q- Quick Oats or Quicken or something else that starts with Q.
