R - red rover - fun game but banned at least at guides and brownies

ick, I hate Red Rover! But I feel that it's because of the banned-ness of it because I've had 2 or 3 friends get seriously hurt while playing it in 5th grade at recess before it was banned, but before that I liked it.

S- screaming toes! Excellent 5 minute filler for outside times when you don't need to be quiet (chilling next to the climbing wall waiting your turn is a bad time to play this game!) and it's really easy to explain, like 30 seconds or less.

I am not a fan of Red Rover however it was the only R I could think of!

I know a safe version of red rover the kids love it they still get to play red rover and they stay safe win win!

(you know you work in a daycare/preschool when the first thing that pops into your head for a W word is Wow Wow Wubsy)

For the safe version of red rover you stand in two lines and call a person over like the regular version but instead of linking arms you put your hands out in front of you and the person that got called over comes over and walking up and down the line and slaps one persons hands then runs back to there side the person that had there hands slapped chases the person that was called over if the chaser catches them they both go back to the side that called and if they do not get caught both people stay on the slappers side.

Y- your imagination can think of something to do, like sell pincones for leaves(there's really not much out there in terms of Y games so there you go!)

G- Great Swammi as it is called on ACA but I always just called it fortune teller or A Long Trip.

You totally stole mine! I was just going to change it to Give me your nectar! Oh well, now I can get another one!
