Hi everyone!
We have a person in on our camp board who is AVIDLY against any form of Kangaroo court, elbows on the table songs etc. She believes this is a form of bullying and causes hurt feelings and cabin mates to turn on the person being picked on.

The rest of the board are people who were campers in the past and feel that Kangaroo court and the elbows song were something we LOVED as kids and counsellors. We have all been the target many times and greatly enjoyed the whole process. We never do anything MEAN...for example we charged a girl a few years ago for being "another year older" on her birthday and she was sentenced to eat cake! but the whole production of it and having the lawyers etc. and the kids chanting guilty etc. was SO much fun the kids had a blast and thought all the costumes (suites from the 80's!) were hilarious....

Just wondering what others experiences are...is this a tradition that needs to be put to rest??
