A Quilt! It might take all summer, but wouldnt it be an awesome gift?

It would be an awesome gift! It would also be difficult to hide. Me thinks it would be one of those "I'm making it for one of my friends" gifts since you wouldn't be able to be very secretive and it would be easy enough over time to get the beans spilled or have the person you are making it for see it, especially if you work closely together or spend a lot of your free time hanging out.

S - Some inspirational quotes writen out nicely and all decorated etc

Stormy at my last camp we used to have to give a thank you gift for our secret buddy (the person who was giving to us) and both years at that camp I made a quilt! Just a small 9 square one - in green and white but it was awesome - one year i got all the staff to sign it - and the second year I divided it down further and put quotes from the most popular camp songs of the summer - both times usuing sharpie or fabric pens!

U - Ukelele song! I don't know how to make a ukelele, but I bet it wouldn't be too hard to learn how to play a song for someone on one, to cheer them up.


And awesome Smudge! A quilt would be such a cool and cherished gift.

V- visualize what they need or want and do it! I know lame, but I wanted to post and i have ot go!

at the very least you could make one of the tissue box guitar things and serenade them!

A- ABC song/nursery rhyme competition between the 2 sides of the dining hall on Saturday morning at my old camp. good times!

B - "Bridging." I read that crossing a certain bridge at my old camp used to be a big accomplishment as a camper, because it lead to the back half of camp where only older girls stayed, and it's a tricky bridge (narrow, over water, formerly made of rope). I wish it would have stayed a major accomplishment of a camper, because last summer I think I walked just about every mom-and-me across it and I think it lost it's value.

C- Campfire. For some camps, it's less frequent than others and often contains many other traditions within it. Simply put, it's the time-honored symbolic image of camp!

D - Dining Hall Procedures & Games. When I can go to the camp I worked at last summer, and play the same table games I remembered playing as a camper.
