I'm an individual who is interested in beginning a career working with youth in camp and after school environments. I do have experience as a counselor and I may be starting college again (with a child development focus.)

I recently joined as a member for ACA and I have been looking into the courses offered through the e-institute and continued education credits. I'd really like to know if having a certificate from ACA on these courses would be viewed well from the stand point of a hiring manager. It's quite a bit of money and, while the information is no doubt useful on it's own, it's more than I could spare if acquiring certification does not improve my chances.
