when you get all excited about socks with tents on them!

yes! I'm so excited to see those socks!

when you send things to people you've never actually met and that live in a different country/on a different continent. Especially when these things are totally randomly awesome things that no one else but a camp person would appreciate.

when you know that there are awesome people still awake who you can talk to when your neighbors decide that 1.30am is a good time to start blaring music!

When you dress for school (including wearing old shoes and changing to your really dirty camp backpack) so that you can puddle jump on the way back...

when you wear socks a camp friend got you for this puddle jumping because you know she would love that they went puddle jumping with you, especially since you can't go puddle jumping with the person.

when you know you have to take 1 plane and 2 busses and a camp van to get to camp

Your non camp friends are tired of hearing your camp stories

You frequently respond to yes or no questions with "YeeHaw!"

You wrote a college entrance essay about camp

The word Linger makes you tear up

You have friends all around the world, but have never left America

You tear up at the thought of your first summer at your childhood camp

You got to see your favorite camper become a counselor

You call your co-workers your family

You dated a fellow counselor

You truly understand the value in Walmart

A walkie-talkie is a sign of power to you

You spend all year getting rid of tan lines, just to get them back this summer

You have to untag pictures of yourself, because they are not camp appropriate

You smiled at all of these posts

Oh man! I am pretty sure I get a walkie-talkie for the first time this summer and I'm ecstatic about it! It's the same as getting to drive the golf cart!!

when no matter what the question or explanation or anything as long as it's about camp you are eager to talk about it! (I'm asking questions about my new camp to someone on facebook!)

when you have sent at least one walkie talkie to a watery grave!

when cleaning is fun

When you guider in charge comes to guides raving about some new craft she has recently learnt - and you are like yeah cool they were really popular at camp with hemp and wooden beads (rather than the expensive tacky bling beads they are using) and when you think your hemp and wooden bead ones look better!

When you see kids playing outside and you wanna join them and set up some sort of game

All of your friends go to havasu or cabo for spring break, you go home to work weekends at camp.

You don't own white tshirts that are still white

Getting a package at mail call is like christmas morning

Complain all day about being tired, plan to go to bed early, stay up for hours talking to other counselors and eating nutella

The two bite rule only applys to campers

Oh man, that spring break one happened to me just last week!!

I only own still white t-shirts because I used them as part of what i had to wear to closing campfire and on first day of a session. blues, whites, and staff tie!

You look for similarities to camp in your "real-world" job.
You think the only way to go anywhere is in groups (2's, 3's, 4's)

you have ties? shoot thats crazy! we have to wear jeans, our green staff polos, a western belt, boots and a white cowboy hat

a staff tie is like a fabric necklace that is folded/tied in a triangle at the bottom.

When you look for a real world job that allows you to have the summer off so you can work at camp

When years after you were last at camp you are still posting here and your bedroom decor is still predominately camp themed!

When even though you could not go to camp due to physcial issues, you watch camp themed movies such as Meatballs, Ernest goes to camp and others like to so you dont miss camp as much just to realize that you miss camp more then ever

By the way Smudge, I am the same way--My bedroom has alot of camp decor after almost 3 seasons off from any kind of camps.
