O - obsessively organising your camp song - I don't have 2 1/2 inches of binder divided into 8sections all of which are indexed and alphabetised!

O - One On One time with a camper that feels left out and needs some help fitting in or making friends. OOO (Triple O, thats what we call it! haha)

O- Opening up this year's brochure for the first time! Especially if you were at that camp last year so you know the people in the pictures!

P-planning fun activities and games for summer 2012

Q- quiet time every day anticipation!

Q - Questioning all your camp friends to find out who is re-applying for another summer and who isn't

R - remembering fun times from previous years

S- Snacks will soon be eaten by you! (all the yummy snacks that are so unique to camp)

T - Trying not to keep emailing your camp director millions of questions about the upcoming summer, like what programs there will be, who has responded to their return invitations, what she has planned for pre-camp, is the packing list different at all...etc :P

U- uploading videos that you've made of yourself singing a particular camp song that you love!

(if you don't know already, I keep posting the theme because then those who are new to the theme don't have to go searching for it and it's a nice reminder to all of us in case we forget and all, but don't feel like I'm obligating everyone to post it!)

V - Verifying that you're not the only one super excited that the pre-camp season has begun by posting on camp forums!

W- watching the countdown get smaller and smaller

X-(e)examining your current collection of supplies for camp and planning for what you need to buy

Y - Yelling in excitement when your email to re-apply for the summer comes, scaring anyone around you half to death

aww man, I have to be the one to come up with a new theme... ummm

new theme- things you don't miss one bit while at camp

A- All the trips I make to the grocery store. Isn't it nice having someone else do the shopping and cooking for you all summer?

B - being bored to death at a regular, non-camp job!

C - Cars. High gas prices? Maintenance? Nonsense, just leave it in the parking lot all summer long and kindly ask the ranger to jump your battery at the end of summer. Be sure to clean off any spider webs before leaving!

D- doing homework

F- Figuring out what to wear each day. Camp T and Shorts it is!

G- getting non- camp people to attempt a cheesy camp game... yeah, that didn't work out for me so well! college freshman... need I say more In my defense this was like 4 years ago that I tried this...

H - having people expecting you to drop everything to answer your cell phone - I loved being without a phone!

Ugh, I hate when I'm at camp and people still expect me to answer. I have a "camp" voicemail message now that's basically "I'm out in the woods, I'll get back to you when I can!"

I - Internet. I don't miss facebook, I don't miss the internet. I do sometimes wish I had Google in my brain for camper questions, and I don't miss having to check my email.

J-Junk that comes with the "real world". Camp life is just so much easier!!
