Just got back from a fun precamp... I think the staff is great this year! The kids come in 2 days!

Yay, I'm happy that you've got a good group Indigo!
Yeah, still 10 days, but there are now only 4.5 school days left since of course the last day is a half day! And I get to help with all of field day on Thursday, which will be fun now that I know a few more kids from observations, but sad because I'll only get to see my kinders when they come through my station. Hopefully the weather will be nice!

Oh man! So I've known for about the past week or so that the 6th graders at the school I'm doing my student teaching are going to my new camp for a day of ropes course and such. Well, i'm in kindergarten so I never imagined that I would be going but they need more adults and there's also a girl with autism going that I might be able to help more one on one if needed because i've been spending a lot of time with her the last week or so during my special ed observations.  Found out that it was even a possibility today and got signed up to go!! YAY! I've also never been on a field trip as a teacher before so I'm way excited!

2.5 days of school left, how crazy is that?! 5 days until camp!!!! Yesterday when I went on the field trip up to camp, even though I posted on the facebook page, the director apparently hadn't read the page yet and looked at me at one point and was like, hey, it's you!  It was fun!

It looks like I might be going to California this summer!
I'm talking to a Girl Scout camp in CA about a CIT director position. If I go I'd leave next week. I'm taking the train across the country because I thought it would be a great way to travel and see some of the country I have not seen!

I loved being the CIT director at my camp! It's so much fun! What Girl Scout Camp in CA? I'm up in Washington and have had some friends venture down that way for camp in the past...
