I have a question regathering our traveling trips that I was hoping that someone could help me with. Standard HR. 8 provides our staff ratios. I found in the travel section that you only 1 staff driver for a 15 passenger van. I was wounder for our off site aquatic activities such as rafting, is there a ratio for lifeguards to campers to follow. If we have 16 campers, rafting and staying over night, I know we would need 2 counselors minimum for the group supervision. It just seems to me like I may be missing something somewhere as I can't find an aquatic ratio through ACA standards. Would we only be required to have 1 lifeguard. If we need 2 lifeguards, how many campers before we need 3?
