So the question is.
Do you know your you plans yet for summer 2014? What camp are you working at? What is your job? Where is the camp?
I'm taking the summer off from camp. Got burndt out last summer by really bad staff.
But I'm interested in finding out what everyone else is doing.

Yes, I know my plans.
I am working in PA. I am the Director or Programming. This is the fourth summer that I've had this job. This is my seventh summer at my camp, and it is my 12th summer over all as camp staff.

And I'll be down the road from Teenster, back at my same camp as the Intercamp Games Director. I get to visit Bryn Mawr a couple of times throughout the summer; they're one of my favorite camps to play.

I'm not sure of my plans, but I have a love/hate relationship with the probability that I won't be at camp all summer this year. This is the first summer I've not started the summer at camp intending to be there all summer. (last summer I ended up spending a month at the camp and then most of my summer at home with a little bit of helping at my original camp)
I'm searching for full-time teaching jobs and don't know if I can dedicate a whole summer to not being around the internet and the schools for interviews and hopefully prepping for a class in the fall. I'm both excited and completely unsure about what I'm going to do this summer. I'm thinking about nannying or finding a day care to work for or something. I've also thought about doing something not with kids at all, but have no idea what that would be without going into retail, fast food, or waitressing. hmm

I have applied to the camp I was at last summer-- I will be okay for a week of camp but as long as I am in a different cabin I will be okay.

I just got hired for my first summer as a counselor at camp Bernadette in Nh. I'm super pumped, I spent full summers there for like 5 years as a kid. 9 weeks of more sun than I've gotten since I was a camper, Haha. Very excited!

I'm taking the summer off from resident camp and staying at home. I got a day camp job ten minutes away from my house teaching ASL and Art. I am also a part time nanny so I will be with the twins after camp each day.
I haven't done day camp in years so it'll be interesting but I'm looking forward in staying home and hanging out with my friends.
