Do the camps that you all work at do different themes each week? or each year? If so, what are some of your favorites?? :-)

We do not do weekly themes at the camp I am at now. In the past I have worked at Girl Scout Camps, and we've had themes.

- Decades
- Holidays
- Disney/Pixar Movies
- Character Days
- Harry Potter
- College/University
- Country Western
- Carnival
- Mardi Gras

- Teenster

Y2K
Survivor -- the TV show
High School
Hollywood

Weekly themes are great for over night camps but I find day camps are best with out them. Day camps the parents are so focused on their kids getting to swim and go on the climbing wall we found anything that took away from the activities hurt us.

Some of our most successful week themes in terms of bringing in campers where:
Sports - A week focused on more physical activities
Arts - A week focused on more art events
Teen - A week for only teens we even had a dance. (This was so popular the next year we added a second Teen week.)
