Just letting you all know that my camp, Lake Bryn Mawr, in PA is still hiring for the summer. We have some leadership and general staff spots still open.
The only requirements we have are: general staff must be female as they live in the bunks with the girls and leadership staff must be at least 21 years of age.
Please let me know if you're interested. tina@campbrynmawr.com

Why is it EVERY year your camp is still hiring so many people so late in the season.? Good camps are fully staffed back in February.

Teenster what camp do you work at in WWinston Salem, NC? I was a director for many years at a YMCA camp about 30 minutes away in Greensboro, NC.

The camp I work at is not in Winston Salem. I live here (and teach here), then go to camp in PA.

Not true. Even for most small camps, to have a staff completely hired by February is a little unrealistic. My camp is right down the road from Teenster's and I get to visit their camp a couple of times throughout the summer...nothing but great things to say about their camp. When your camp is bigger and you have more staff to hire, it takes a little more time usually. We have close to about 200 staff members and they definitely aren't all hired by February...

DTP:
Okay I can understand still trying to fill a couple last minute or difficult to fill vacancies, but go back and look at Teensters post on April 14, 2014 she's still looking and hiring for just about every position at camp including a large number of senior staff/admin positions. A little more time is one thing shes looking in April, and she's looking for just about everything.
