ACA Home Forums Countdown to camp 2016

I know many of us have just came back from camp this year but I already have started my countdown until camp 2016. Only 332 days, 17 hours and 37 mins left

Wow, I haven't figured out my timeline yet. I know that leadership staff has to be back on June 12, but I'm not sure when I'll get there. I am in a wedding on the 11th and then there are the dreaded snow days. I'll let you know as we get closer.

We don't even establish the start dates of summer 2016 yet as far as I know. Wow, this is an early countdown. I know that our brochure goes out in the very beginning of January, and that's when hiring starts, but I'm not sure of when the directors know the dates. But mid-June, so 10 months. Heck, I don't even know when I start school (it's a bargaining year, so the union and the district are still discussing)

With my camp, I only go to a one week camp, and we rent a camp site from another facility, so the camp site we rent from, they usually give the camps who rent from them dates a year or so in advance because the campsite we rent from also have their own camps when they are not renting the camp site out.

I am on the camp committee and I got an e-mail stating the official dates for camp for next year-- at least I know when I am going. Also knowing the dates for camp works in our favor because we have to plan most of the evening activities for camp and sometimes have to bring in outside people to help out.
