Camp Liberty, in Battleground, Alabama (between Huntsville and Birmingham) is the 75-acre home of
Extreme Military Challenge! We serve young men and women 13-18 worldwide, who seek to experience the military lifestyle.
We are NOT for delinquents. Camp Liberty offers a variety of facilities, including:
- Lodging for 200+
- Industrial kitchen, seating 150+
- Two rooms, with handicapped-accessible restroom.
- Chapel seating 100+.
- Laundry facility with six washers and dryers
- Amphitheater seating 1,000+
- Multi-media classrooms
- BBQ trailer
- Fiber optic Internet
High-adventure and “military” facilities include:
- Largest American Flag in northern Alabama!
- Pool with 150’ waterslide
- 2 ponds
- 4 zip lines
- Low ropes course
- 21 station military obstacle course
- 35’ rappel tower
- Fitness field and ½ mile running track
- “PX” with hygiene items and souvenirs
- “Forward Operating Base” with military tents for 40+
Camp Liberty is near to a variety of amenities, including an incredible cliff rappelling site. We are with 45 minutes of the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville.
Camp Liberty's team of military veterans can provide seasoned facilitators for high-adventure activities. We can also provide training, facilitation and facility support.
