Lodge, Camp & Conference Center - Historic Camp Concharty


Former Girl Scouts' Camp Concharty is 196-acres and adjoins FDR State Park. Concharty Lake is approximately 8 acres and in 2012, work was completed on spillway repairs and improvements. The camp also has a high elements course and a zip line that is currently operational, as well as a horse barn/stable with at least 6 stalls and a small pasture area. Multiple buildings include The Lodge, Ranger's House, Tool Shed, Dining Hall, Bath House, Cook's Cabin, Trading Post/infirmary, Arts & Crafts Shed, Bunk Houses, Camp Sites, Pool & Sports courts.

Beautiful Camp Concharty adjoins FDR State Park and shares the lower portion of Dowdell's Knob, a very historically significant area.
