Hello, I am interested in purchasing a historic camp/retreat style property. I am especially interested in a historic preservation aspect, so definitely interested in "fixer uppers" or properties that need some work such as historic camps or cabins, former scout building, old hunting/fishing camp, etc. It does not need to have complete facilities (i.e. a cabin or 2 would be fine as long as there is some room on the acreage where additional facilities could be built over time.) Location is flexible, but prefer a mountain setting and the more small business-friendly the state is, the better. Price is really dependent on the property and how much work needs to be done, but ideally, looking in the 250k range.
