Though these are pretty old postings, readers should be very cautious when purchasing "shredded tires" for these uses. This is a pretty rough product because it often contains debris from the steel belts of the tires. You probably would be much happier with "crumb rubber." Though often made from old tires, it's a different level and quality of product.
