Does anyone know the policy for paying overtime to camp counselors at Day Camps? Our counselors often work over 40 hours (we are not an overnight camp)?
Are you paid hourly(ie, $10.00/hr) or salary(i.e, you are contracted for $2500 for the summer)? If salary then sorry no overtime most likely. If hourly then you'd probably have leverage to talk about overtime pay.
