YOu know you are counsellor when you have 2 1/2 inch think, catagorised song book! A games file on your computer that, if printed out would be at least as thick and a collection of games books that is in double figures!

When you own a rubber chicken!

when you PJs include with stuff bought while in the USA at camp or camp clothing (or both!)

When you have a wall you call your camp wall!

When you are feeling down and you pull out your star jar!

When one of your best friends doesnt even live on the same continent as you!

When here about a huge fire in "drift wood" from cargo ship that floundered in last months storms and your first thought isn't about potential damage but about roasting marshmallows - and particularly how many you could roast and how much fun it would be! (I think maybe I need help!)

When your stories from summer do not include tales about boys, make-up, new movies, or vacations.

So I thought of this one last night due to the neighbor burning something....

When the smell of woodsmoke makes you dream of smores and camp fire antics! (Especially bad in winter!!!)

I definitely sacrifice sleep and homework for the boards, and that is a bad thing right now!!! I should be doing homework that I didn't do over the weekend since i was on the boards, but I am still on the boards!!

When you have only had two hours sleep but still manage to get the energy to come on ACA and CA forums!

When something embarrasses you, and forgetting that you are not with camp people, do pineapple - thus embarrassing yourself further!

when you do the awkward turtle, get funny looks, explain it to everyone, and now they do it!

Pineapple - it was something we did on kitchen raids!

All the staff knew what it meant and the campers and that was half the fun of it!

If pineapple was yelled you would stand still with your hands twisted together above your head - and in doing so you became "invisible" and those passing by you could only smell pineapple - I dont know how it started!

We also have sleath which is almost the same - you with your hands together (palms together) and then no one can see, hear or smell you!

you know you are obsessed when The Parent Trap is a comfort movie that you use to keep your mind off of things that disturb you (scary books, things you did horribly wrong that day, etc)and comfort you into sleep!

I love the parent trap - both verions of them - I always watch one when I am getting really camp sick!

I like Parent Trap. It is a nice movie. However, in my mind, it is absolutely not camp realisic.

oh, no way is it really camp realixtic! But it is fun to watch and it has some basic elements of camp in it!! and it is cute and something from childhood!!!

Yes, it is very cute to watch. I like all the pranks they do.

absolutely!!! My favorite part is when they are at camp! (duh!) and of course when the girls reveal to their dad that they know each other and switched places! Oh, and the part where Jessie (Chessie? never can tell!) finds out that Annie is with her instead of Hallie!
