well i'm not at camp yet! lol
i should of sed i'm in LA =P
just done my orientation and its my last day to be free and do nothing so guna take advantage of it!

25 days today.

(24 days until graduation!)

29 days!!! wow, less than 30 days!!!!!

Still cool though Shay! hope you are enjoying LA!

exactly TWO WEEKS and like 12 hours until i get on a red-eye flight to the other side of the country!

i'm nervous...after three years at the same camp, this year i'm going to a new one.

excited, though!!!!!!!

Is that LA as in Los Angeles or LA as in Louisiana?

She was flying in from Aus and going to camp in Arizona so i would guess that it is los angeles!

That WOULD make a lot more sense than Luisiana!

I have 19 days! Oh my goodness just registered that I have less than 20 days!

it only registered today 4 me cause my 2 best friends left for their camp, there meeting me at my camp in 3 months

Thats cool! I meet up with one of my friends after camp in 02 it was soo much fun!

I am excited to get to camp and I am excited for my after camp travel plans - washington and utah here I come!!!!!!!!!!!

I bet!!! It would be so weird to be in a country that did everything so oppositely!! I too would run across the street and hope!! hehe

I know what you mean shay, it does take a fair bit to get used to!

This year its a new position for me at a new camp so I wanted to come out a little bit early to find my way around and work on pre-camp stuff, then open house was booked for the 4th May and I wanted to be there for that and there is so much prep work to do such as a brand new manual to be written, pre-camp trainings and sessions to be devised as well as hiring staff that it was just easier to come out early! I admit that next year I won't be out as early as this! lol but it is fun being here and getting things done. I feel like i'm achieving something everyday! :-)

Well, not all states have sales tax (i.e. Oregon) Which I get used to not having tax and then end up thinking I'm overcharged when I go back to Nevada. Then to really mess you up each state has a different percentage of tax too, so when you get to Arizona it'll be different!

And, as far as weird goes, most of the world drives our way, so :P

The funniest thing I think I ever saw was the "Look left" painted on the road at crosswalks in London. Silly people driving on the wrong side of the road.
