somethings that I found helpful as a staff member was to have in my manual some rainy day activities as well as games so that one could pull off doing something at a moment's notice without much prep.
a review of basic safety guidelines would be helpful
a map of camp
contact info in case something happened. including a list of code terms for the radio if your camp uses them
tips for the summer such as how to deal with certain things
