Have it given to you, but only once (like, after you've been 'named', you can introduce yourself as that at another camp).
As a side note, my camp doesn't really do camp names, but a lot of my camp friends call me "Barbie", because during my LIT year we had 3 Sarah LITS and at least 4 staff with my name. And I brought a Barbie doll to camp as a symbol of myself, haha. So now a lot of my buds call me Barbie, and that's what I tend to get called over the walkies.
