too many staff-- you never know when you may need the extra staff in case of camper or staff injuries or campers getting homesick or campers needing to use the bathroom-- I had times this past summer where I thought I had too many staff and then was happy I had them when I had homesick campers or campers who slipped and fell and needeed to be transported to the nurse( I had no walkie talkie and it wasnt so bad that I needed to use my cell phone to call it in)
Anyway back to topic-- have too many staff assigned to a cabin or not enough-- keep in mind time off and day off schudules
