hahaha, I am pretty sure I know exactly which australian you are talking about! I can just picture that reaction! I wasn't old enough for staff training those years. Yeah, this Brit for sure thought it was a joke or something. Running joke the whole summer of course. Never lived it down! Granted, I do think that it makes sense to be baffled, kinda like we might do if we had to live with the possible reality of tornados or something.
