I have a habit of making the counselors near me laugh by singing the last bit of on my honor like so:
"And we've made a promise to always keep and to sing day is done before we sleep we'll be Girl Scouts forever and when we're done we'll still be trying to sing this song."
Mostly because our staff somehow could never get the order of the song right, if we could even remember all of it.
And sometimes "hmmmmmm hmmmmm we need a metronome" gets whispered/sung because half of staff will sing Linger faster than the other half, and it's terrible.
