As far as the lifetime thing goes, I was reading in "Sleepaway: The girls of Summer and the Camps they Love" that she met her best friend at camp one year and more than 30 years later she was in the middle of getting divorced from her husband of 29 years when her friend died. She wasn't sure what thing she was more broken up about!
I hope to find a lifetime friend- or at least a BEST friend (one you can go to with all your fears and problems and they will help you out in they way you need!) this summer!!
