Can you hire a Camp Psychologist? I would train them on what to do how to calm clients. Generally, I let the professionals deal with these issues or send the child home. You should not have to deal with this on your own. See if you can get some volunteers from a hospital or call a psychiatrist and see if you can get some of their insight.
