Our program, Project Ember is entering its 5th season, and we're looking to find a home that can support our modest growth. We have about 40-45 people at capacity, (30 campers plus another 10-15 staff and junior staff). We're in search of a location within 2.5 hours of San Francisco where we can rent for about 6 contiguous weeks, preferably from the start of July on, but open to other summer availability windows. Our needs are modest; kitchen and bathing facilities, flat open space to utilize as a build space (we are an engineering program), and ideally cabins though we are open to building yurt platforms in the right space. We're also open to renting alongside other groups or exclusively. We've cast a wide net in our search, but are hoping to connect with a location that is in transition or newly establishing itself and looking for a multi-year committed program. Lastly, we are currently registered as an LLC, which has precluded us from renting from large organizations like Girl Scouts/Boy Scouts, etc.
