Looking to lease grounds for Special Needs Camp - 09/23/13 04:32 PM
Hello,
I am the director of a relatively new (in our 3rd year) residential summer camp for children with high functioning developmental and cognitive disabilities that is somewhere around the Atlanta and North Carolina areas. Ideally, we are looking for a place that can provide us with at least a 3 week block that has cabins, dining call, ideally bathrooms in the cabins, but if not and the bathouses are accessible, we can consider.... and ideally a waterfront area as well. We are a nature-based camp, so some access to that is key. Also, we are a Jewish camp, so if it is not already a kosher facility we may need permission to make the kitchen kosher which isn't such a huge process.
