While one can never know for sure what the future holds, remember the longer a property sits on the market, the less value it is worth. This is amplified if upkeep of grounds and buildings is neglected while a property sits vacant. Price properties to sell at the start and you'll likely get more than you would after letting it sit for a couple years.
