Camp Mimanagish, the 'Place of Singing Waters' includes 9 cabins, a dining hall and retreat center, chapel, lodge, tool shed and a bathhouse. Since 1932, youth, adults and families have been going to Camp Mimanagish, a sacred wilderness sanctuary.The structures are either log or wood frame and built between 1937 and 1977. It is a three season camp 40 miles South of Big Timber Montana in the most beautiful valley in Montana, the Boulder Valley. Traditionally open from May through October, the camp is a Special Use Permit on USDA Forest Service land of approximately 16 acres and includes frontage on the Boulder River, a premier trout fishery. A purchaser of the camp would have to meet the intent in the Organization Camp Fee Act and the intent of the direction in the FS manual. The permit provides for operation of a non-commercial, non-profit organization and a purchase is contingent upon buyers application and approval by USFS to operate Mimanagish as a camp.
