Cool. Lots of us here work at GS camps and have done for a number of years (this will be my 5th summer at GS camp and 6th summer at camp) so if you have any questions about GS camp in general I am sure we will be able to answer them for you.

27 days!

37 days! I'm starting to think about packing, but I really should do my final project for school first, since it's due in 6 days.

One nice thing Indigo, is if you do the school project you will be done with it and then think about packing and such! I know, I am such a hypocrite as far as homework goes since I never do it before 8pm on the night before it is due!

58 days! less than 2 months! and i have a week and a half until I get to do a little weekend thing at camp, including open house!!! i am soooo excited for open house!!! woot woot!

I KNOW RIGHT. but im scared.
and yesterday i got a what 2 bring list n they want me 2 bring khaki shorts.
its going into winter here, like no shops have summer clothes anymore:(

that's sad and something I never would have thought of! But then again I have never had to experience that!

dont worry you will be able to get them in walmart once you get to camp! I would just email you camp and check that they are gonna do a shoping trip before the campers arrive!

51 days until campers arrive

Only 52 days until the first day of camp! (Less until the first staff day.)

57 days til I get to camp and 58 days until I have campers! I am one of the returning staff who is going a week early to be a counselor at grief camp so we have a day to get trained for the grief camp, reunite ourselves with the staff and get settled and ready for the campers the next day! Then I will have precamp the week after that and then campers will come like the 6th of July, which is late, even for us.
