Our 501(c)(3) organization is seeking to purchase or lease a facility which can be used for a small boarding and day school of about 30 students and 6-10 live-in staff.
Facilities must include:
- Housing which accommodates two to four students per room. We are not looking for cabins or large bunkhouses.
- Emergency room facilities within a 45 minute drive
- Classroom space
- Water and septic/sewer to support year round school of up to 30 students
- At least 8 acres of land
We are willing to consider locations throughout the US if the price is at a point which we can both be competitive with other local schools and the facilities/area will likely draw interest. Texas is likely the most desirable location. We are well aware of sale prices of similar properties and thus won't consider facilities asking, for example, $3 million for what should be $750,000.
