Hello I am starting a casual search for potential new camp sites to rent out for my small volunteer run summer camp. We typically run two weeks of camp in Minnesota with about 70 campers each week. We are starting to feel like we are out growing the current site we rent esp if we wanted to allow more campers to attend without having to run an additional week of camp in future years. We've been in central MN for over a decade now and this area would be ideal to stay near or potentially move to anywhere in SE Minnesota as we draw many of our campers from MN, WI, and IA.
We typically utilize host camp staff to lead/run certain activities such as waterfront, archery, and most years food services.
We are a secular science and arts camp that helps campers ages 8-17 learn critical thinking skills and promotes humanist values. Anyone out there looking to rent out their campgrounds for a couple weeks each summer?
